2019: Phillip K. Doonesbury

Early Life & Education

Phillip grew up in Redding, California where he developed a love of the outdoors. He attended Pacific Union College where he majored in biology. 

Personal Life

He is a bachelor who enjoys the wine, not the label. 

Career

Phillip put his biology degree to work in research and education in National Parks systems in the western United States. There he developed a love of rock climbing, and he set a world record in a free solo scaling the ascent of the 3,000 ft face of El Capitan in Yosemite National Park.
